If you’ve ever wondered how Naval Air Station Whidbey Island’s Search and Rescue team does what it does, here’s your chance to find out.
The team will reveal its secrets during a program at 3 p.m. April 21 at the Oak Harbor Library. Team members will share the capabilities of the MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter, along with what’s involved in mountain search and rescue operations and medical evacuations.
The program is free and open to everyone. Anyone with questions may call 675-5115 or visit www.sno-isle.org for details.
