Local students make the grade

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The following students from Oak Harbor were named to the Columbia College dean’s list last month for the January to March 2011 award period:

Michael S. Belna, Tyhesia M. Hardin, Janayle M. Kennonclaggett, Jeri L. Kreier, Jamie L. LaPointe, Andrew M. Lapointe, Jeffrey D. Lawrence, Viet Q Luu, Aimee L. Maples, Shawna R. Schloe, Dana A. Schwab, Timothy M. Scribner, Michelle D. Subbert, Jason T. Summerbell, Kristin A. Toland, Marizza P. Torrella and Phillip J. Vela.

To be named to the dean’s list a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a four point scale.

Students in the Oak Harbor area take classes at Columbia through the Navy College Program at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
