Islanders were plagued with lousy ferry service Saturday and Sunday on both routes serving Whidbey.

Pointing tourists left down Engle Road instead of right to Highway 20 would about halve the distance to town from the newly named Coupeville Ferry Terminal. Town officials hope a new sign can be in place when the new ferry arrives later this month. County approval is needed.
