Letter: New parking lot doesn’t meet definition of ‘green’

Greening of Coupeville? I was saddened to see that the parking lot by the library will be paved instead of using a surfacing that would allow water to infiltrate. A good example would be the parking lot by the Bayview Center.

The paving of a parking lot does not satisfy my definition of “greening.”
