Field carrier landing practice schedule — June 3-9

Published 1:30 am Friday, June 1, 2018

Field Carrier Landing Practice training operations are scheduled to occur evenings to late night Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8 at Ault Field.

The aircraft carrier flight training operations are types of operations that involve lower altitude flight training in close vicinity to the airfield.

Both runways at Ault Field are now open. If OLF Coupeville closes due to weather, Ault Field will become the backup airfield for OLF-scheduled operations.

There are no scheduled Coupeville carrier operations.

NAS Whidbey remains open continuously to support flight operations and training. FCLP and Carrier Controlled Approach schedules for OLF Coupeville and Ault Field will continue to be released weekly for community planning purposes.

Comments, including noise complaints can be directed to NAS Whidbey Island’s comment line at 360-257-6665, or e-mailed to comments.NASWI@navy.mil
