The Shorewood High School volleyball team won its first match of the season at the expense of Oak Harbor, defeating the visiting Wildcats 3-0 Thursday, Sept. 21.
The Thunderbirds prevailed 25-18, 27-25, 25-20.
Cami Bristow collected 11 kills and 10 digs for the Wildcats, while Hailee Blau added 12 kills and three blocks. Setter Andrea Ruben handed out 25 assists.
Oak Harbor (1-2, 2-3) goes to Marysville Getchell (0-3, 1-4) for a 7 p.m. match Tuesday, Sept. 26.
