Madonna Marie Oswald Sisemore passed away at her home in Coupeville on Jan. 12, surrounded by friends and family. Madonna was born Dec. 16, 1958, in Highland Park, Ill. She moved to California at age 1 and relocated to Washington in 1984. For the past 13 years, she resided in Coupeville.
Madonna is survived by her husband Dana Azure; her son Douglas Oswald, his wife Kendra and their daughters; her son Nicholas Sisemore, his wife Lilliana and their son and daughters; her children Tice Azure and Scott Azure; her mother Gloria; and her sisters Celeste, Veronica and Monique. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald, her brother Thomas and granddaughter Samantha.
She worked in many different fields: Bayliner boat building, 16 years at Boeing and her favorite “job” was junior farmer at Rosehip Farm and Garden. Madonna made friends everywhere she went and always provided a willing ear.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Coupeville Rec Hall. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbey memorial.com
