Nancy Garrison: June 27, 1956 – Jan. 14, 2017

Nancy Garrison was born to Carlene and Bill Garrison June 27, 1956 in Bellingham. Nancy went to school in Oak Harbor until she graduated and went on to Pacific Lutheran University and San Jose State.

After leaving school, she headed for the mountains to work in ski patrol and as a back-country guard. She loved the mountains, beach and spoiling nieces and nephews. She was a fantastic photographer. She left this earth Jan. 14 to join her mother after a two-year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her dad and siblings David (Judi) Garrison, Susanne Garrison, Carl (Kris) Garrison, Karen (David) Pelletier and Julie (Michael) Korenko; her brother-in-law Richard Clise; aunt Shirley Danielson, uncle Howard and aunt Dena Wangsness; nieces Carly McGinn, Ingrid Pelletier and JoAnne Garrison; nephews Will Garrison and Michael Dean Korenko; and great niece Ada McGinn along with many cousins and friends.
