I thoroughly agree! I would not be here today without the speed and efficiency of our EMTs. About a year ago, I suddenly became extremely short of breath and passed out. My son called 911 and the ambulance crew arrived, got me stabilized and transported me to the Whidbey General ER. I woke up in the ICU and spent four days there, receiving excellent care, by the way. My only regret is missing the ride in the ambulance!
