George W. Boyd

George W. Boyd passed away at his home in Oak Harbor on April 19, 2006. He was 75 years old.
George was born in Santa Anna, Calif. He served in the United States Air Force for nine years. He was a police officer with the Riverside Police Department, from which he took a medical retirement in 1978. He moved to Whidbey Island in 1989.
George is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Bill Boyd of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Terry Boyd of Spokane; three grandsons and a granddaughter; and a sister, Ann Ernst of Lafayette, Calif. He will be sorely missed by his family.
