Susie Thurston

Susie (Tant) Thurston passed away suddenly on July 8, 2005. Susie was born Sept. 20, 1949 in Tallassee, Ala., and spent all of her adult life in Tacoma and Mineral, Wash. She graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1967 and had planned on returning for this year’s ‘60’s reunion.

She is survived by her son Clifford M. Wilcox, of Tacoma; one grandson, Westin Wilcox of Puyallup; her father and step-mother Robert and June Tant, of Oak Harbor; her mother and step-father Myrtle and Robert Jones, of Lakewook; sister, Linda C. Miller, of Buckley; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held July 14 at Brown Mortuary Service in Morton, Wash.
