Hannah Bainbridge

Hannah Bainbridge of Coupeville, Washington was called home to be with her Lord on Jan. 23, 2013. Hannah was born March 5, 1926 in Minersville, Penn. to David and Catharine Bowers. She was a resident of Coupeville since 1944. Hannah married William “Red” Bainbridge. They were married for 37 years when he passed away November of 1981. Hannah worked at the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, Accounting and Administration Department. She retired in 1981 after 36 years of government service. Her greatest love was family. They meant the world to her and she did everything possible to make a great life for them. She gave her family memories that will last a lifetime.
Hannah is survived by her children: daughter Judy Wilkerson and husband Chuck, son Bill Bainbridge and wife Bernice; three grandchildren; Shawn Leese, Sandra Timms and Roger Bainbridge and five great-great grandchildren. She leaves behind brothers, Joe and Albert Bowers and sister Mary Louise “Lulu”
Lamas, Many nieces and nephews and cousins remain. Her sister Pearl Seiger passed away on Jan. 7, 2013. Hannah’s family would like to thank Fairhaven who gave great love and care to Mom.
In honor of her request, no funeral services will be held. Hannah will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville. May God Bless you and keep you, until we meet again.
