Charles Elmer Lowry

Charles Elmer Lowry, 82, passed away Aug. 2, 2004, at his home in Greenbank. He was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Blue Mound, Kan., to Charles and Edna Lowry.

Mr. Lowry moved from Woodinville to Whidbey Island 20 years ago. He was a member of South Whidbey Church of Christ. He played the banjo and other instruments.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Lowry; step-children, Miles Roscher, Clay Roscher and Tracy Roscher; four granddaughters and one grandson; sister Edith Bishop of Cashmerel two brothers, James Lowry of Yakima and Edward Lowry of Missouri; mother-in-law Pearl Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law Sharon and John Savage, Loren and Marge Martin and Earl Martin and his devoted dog, Mitzi.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. at Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
