William A. Nelsen, 57, died March 22, 2003, at home in Oak Harbor, surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Nelsen was born Oct. 4, 1945, at Longview to Buzz and Mary E. Nelsen. Bill was a longtime member of Laborers‚ Local No. 901, of Mount Vernon.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Eleanor Nelsen of Oak Harbor, two sons, US Air Force Technical Sgt. Keith W. Nelsen of Sembach, Germany, and William A. Nelsen, Jr., of Boise, Idaho; a granddaughter, Jordan B. Nelsen of Phoenix, Ariz., a grandson, Corey Ray Nelsen, of Boise, Idaho and mother of his two sons, Darlene Nelsen of Aberdeen; two sisters, Lois Wakefield of Naselle and Linda Clark and her husband of Centralia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request there will be no services. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
