Charles Eugene Kester

Charles Eugene Kester, 39, died Oct. 16, 2003, at his home in Oak Harbor, Washington. He was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Atsugi, Japan, to Robert and Kayoko (Myuchi) Kester.
Charles and his family moved to Poway, Calif., when he was two years of age. In 1971, the Kester family moved to Oak Harbor. Charles graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1983. He worked for Washington Bulb Company and Northwest Seafood for a time, but became disabled and could no longer work.
Charles is survived by his mother Kayoko Kester and one brother Patrick Kester and his wife Janis, all of Oak Harbor.
Cremation was held with private family inurnment to follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor, Washington.
