Pamela Diane Haynes, 55, died Nov. 29, 2003, of natural causes at her home in Oak Harbor.
Pamela was born May 13, 1948, in Sweethome, Ore., to Clayton and Elsie (Johnson) Hegre.
Pamela worked as a housekeeper and front desk clerk at Auld Holland Inn in Oak Harbor and just recently passed the boards for her certified nursing assistant’s license. She also worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 15 years prior in Eugene, Ore.
In 1997, she married Keith Haynes of Eugene, Ore., who preceded her in death in 2001. After spending 28 years in Eugene, she moved to Oak Harbor two years ago. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, knitting and being with her family and friends.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by three children, Scott B. Adams of Renton; Stephanie D. (Adams) Silani of Eagle Point, Ore.; Brent L. Adams of Schweinfurt, Germany, and one brother, John Hegre of Marysville. Three grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Elsie Hegre.
Cremation with private family graveside services was held Dec.19 at Sunset Hills Memorial Cemetery, Eugene. Contributions may be made to Pamela D.
