Kathleen Ann Olson

Kathleen Ann Olson died Dec. 2, 2003, at her home in Oak Harbor. She was born Feb. 13, 1954, in Van Nuys, Calif., to John R. and Margaret (Sterling) MacKinnon.

Kathy graduated with Honors from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, N.H., in 1972. Aug. 27, 1973, she married Glenn Olson of Seattle and moved to Seattle where her son Erik was born.

The raising of her son was her special joy, and the beautiful things she created for her home reflected her love of family and all of nature. Family and friends were always welcome for interesting, sometimes spirited conversations over a cup of tea.

She is survived by her son Erik and husband Glenn Olson of Seattle, her Mother Margaret, sister Mary, brothers John, Don, and Bill. A memorial service was held for family and friends Saturday, Dec. 6, at Burley Funeral Chapel.
