Roberto A. Angel

Roberto A. Angel, 63, 11-year resident of Oak Harbor, died Dec. 28, 2003 at Island Hospital in Anacortes.
Mr. Angel was born in Cavite City, Philippines, Aug. 20, 1940, to Celso Angel and Timotea (Angeles) Angel. Roberto was married to Virginia Manago in September 1968. The couple moved to Oak Harbor in October 1992. He enjoyed fishing.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Virginia, at home; his three sons, Roberto Angel, Jr. and wife Jinky of Layton, Utah, Ronaldo Angel and fiancee Teri and Alberto Angel and wife Thelma, all of Oak Harbor; four grandchildren, Stephen, Rachelle, Janna Mae and Danica; three brothers, Alfonso Angel of Olongapo City, Philippines, Rosauro Angel of San Diego, Calif. and Romeo Angel of Guam; and one sister, Visitacion Figuerres of Virginia Beach, Va. He was preceded in death by several step-brothers and step-sisters in the Philippines.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 3 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Burley Funeral Chapel, followed by a Mass at St. Augustines Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. Ronald Belisle, celebrant. Arrangements under direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
