Storm hits island hard

A storm blew over Whidbey Island starting late Wednesday, causing flooding, uprooted trees and widespread power outages.
The National Weather Service has a wind advisory in effect until noon Thursday.
Winds were reported up to 64 mph in Oak Harbor.
