The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:

Saturday, May 7

At 1:58 p.m., a Castilian Drive resident reported that a stray dog went into her yard, attacked her dog and won’t leave the yard.

At 5:51 p.m., a Northeast 10th Avenue resident reported that his neighbor threatened him with a gun over a dispute about loud music.

Sunday, May 8

At 2:16 a.m., a caller on Pioneer Way reported that a man called a cab but doesn’t remember where he lives.

At 9:55 a.m., an injured bunny was reported on Columbia Drive.

At 6:19 a.m., a woman on Northeast Avenue reported that “there are too many cars out here.” The caller was slurring her words.

Monday, May 9

At 5:56 p.m., a driver reported that a man was “flipping signs about Jesus” on the corner of the highway and Barrington Drive. The caller said it was distracting.

Tuesday, May 10

At 9:15 a.m., a caller reported that a small child was running on Whidbey Avenue by himself.

At 9:17 a.m., there was a report that a child ran away from Crescent Harbor Elementary.

At 12:03 p.m., a loose emu was reported on Cypress Lane.

At 3:59 p.m., a Waterside Court resident reported finding a bird’s nest.

At 5:39 p.m., a caller at a Midway Boulevard business reported that a man pulled wires out of the ice machine.

Wednesday, May 11

At 2:15 p.m., a resident asked to speak to an officer about an emu.

Thursday, May 12

At 9:21 a.m., a caller reported that two men in a minivan on Erie Street looked suspicious.

At 9:28 a.m., a woman reported being stalked on Bayshore Drive.

At 3:36 p.m., vulgar graffiti was reported on Ensign Drive.

At 4:51 p.m., a caller reported that someone had a psychotic break downtown.

Friday, May 13

At 11:51 a.m., a caller reported that someone stole her wallet and phone from the cart in the Walmart parking lot.

At 1:03 p.m., a North Oak Harbor Street resident said someone taped a package to her door. “Leave us alone” was written on the outside of the package.

Saturday, May 14

At 4:37 a.m., a Southeast Barrington Drive resident reported that a neighbor was yelling on the phone for an hour about her cat dying.

At 8:29 a.m., a Gemstone Drive resident reported that “some creature” is stuck in her dryer vent.

At 11:16 a.m., a person at a business on the highway reported that an ex-employee pulled a knife on a current employee in the parking lot.

At 3:28 p.m., a Southeast Barrington Drive resident reported that someone was ringing the doorbell and covering the peep-hole.

Monday, May 16

At 12:45 a.m., a caller at a business on the highway reported that a man was at the counter with a gun.

At 6 a.m., a Calista Court resident reported that a man was bending over, waving his arms, looking into cars and “picking bugs out of his hair.”

At 4:04 p.m., a caller South Oak Harbor Street reported that a suspicious person was peering through a fence and watching kids at a nearby church.

At 5:44 p.m., a caller reported that a man punched a dog in the face three times near the highway.

Tuesday, May 17

At 9:35 a.m., a caller reported that a child was alone at a park on Upland Court and there was “scorched grass” near the child.

At 12:06 p.m., an employee at a Barlow Street business reported that a bag full of urine and condoms was left in the night deposit box.

At 3:33 p.m., a caller reported that a man was watching kids over a fence on Northwest Second Avenue.

At 3:54 p.m., there was a report that a homeless man was in the shower on Beeksma Drive for a few hours.

At 7:42 p.m., a caller reported that a man near the highway was leaning against a wall with his pants around his ankles.

At 9:24 p.m., a Oleary Street resident reported that a man was crawling to his home.

Wednesday, May 18

At 12:31 p.m., a caller reported that a man was lying in a grassy area on Goldie Street.

At 3:31 p.m., a Southwest Heller Street resident reported that a cat or raccoon was living on the roof.

At 4:05 p.m., a Southwest Third Avenue resident reported that a raccoon was hanging out in trees in the backyard. She said she’s unable to let her children outside to play because of the critter.

Thursday, May 19

At 9:05 p.m., a Oak Harbor Road resident reported that a car ran into a tree and the driver pulled a knife on the caller.

Friday, May 20

At 8:59 a.m., a caller at a business on the highway reported that a man came in and asked for the nearest mental institution. He was also talking to himself.

At 3:21 p.m., a Crosby Avenue resident reported that a large rabbit was lost.

Saturday, May 21

At 4:44 p.m., a woman reported that she was being stalked.

At 7:22 p.m., a Southwest Harrier Circle resident reported a case of broken knuckles.

At 11:24 p.m., a resident reported a loud party at an apartment on Kimball Drive. The caller said one of the partiers likes to jump off the balcony and ran from police.

Sunday, May 22

At 8:19 a.m., the owner of a Goldie Street business reported that someone broke in and stole machinery.

At 1:43 p.m., a man at the bus station reported that there’s a hit out on him.

At 6:16 p.m., a caller reported that two women were screaming and slamming each other around on Southeast Eighth Avenue.

At 6:51 p.m., a woman reported that a man continually sends her texts asking for sex.

At 7:58 p.m., a Northeast 16th Avenue resident reported that her boyfriend popped her car tires.

Monday, May 23

At 9:29 a.m., a Midway Boulevard resident reported that her Dumpster was vandalized and two dirty mattresses were dumped.

At 11:22 a.m., a caller reported that someone was trying to pass a counterfeit bill on Northeast Seventh Avenue.

At 2:46 p.m., there was a report that a toddler was bitten on the cheek by a dog on Central Drive.

At 11:11 p.m., a passerby reported that a man was passed out in a car with a bottle in his hand on City Beach Street.
