The Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, may reimburse some costs of repairing or replacing property damaged by winds, floods, landslides or mudslides during storms occurring Nov. 12-15, 2015 or Dec. 1-14, 2015, it said in a prepared release. Island County was among those areas designated as eligible for Public Assistance funding under major-disaster declarations signed by President Obama Jan. 15, 2016, FEMA said.
