Thank you Erica Schumacher

Members of the Whidbey Camano Land Trust and volunteer planners for the Sept. 20 event celebrating the Trust’s 25th anniversary want to express our appreciation to Erica Schumacher. We were fortunate to have Erica designing the program. She has been an event planner for Microsoft, Beneroya Hall, Seattle theater companies and community benefits.

Erica knows how to manage and ask for sponsors. When she asked Windermere Reality to be our underwriter, they said yes in a big way. She had pragmatic suggestions about invitations and even a what-if-it-rains plan.

The success of this Oak Harbor event is especially appropriate since the first land easements were on North Whidbey.
