Charles and Gail Davis

It is of great sadness that we share the passing of our parents; Charles Raymond Davis (86) and Gail Sharon (Bohall) Davis (80).
Gail died peacefully on Dec. 15, 2018. She was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Seattle, WA. Gail was a navy wife, mother, grand mother, a veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force, and an artist for over fifty years. She was a member of the Women’s Painters of Washington in Seattle, WA. She showed and sold many still life oil paintings in shows and galleries on Whidbey Island.
Charles died peacefully on Nov. 3, 2023. He was born Sept. 1, 1937, in Prescott, AK. Charles retired from the Navy in 1975 as a Chief and served on many aircraft carriers including the U.S.S. Forrestal when it was on Fire. He continued working after retirement from the Navy as the parts manager for Oak Harbor Motors until 2000. Many remember him as “Chuck” Davis.
Charles and Gail are survived by: their three children, Scott C. Davis(64), Jill B. (Davis) Hundtoft(62), and Colin B. Davis(52), Gail’s brother, Hilary Bohall and sister Kathy (Bohall) Brown, Charles’ sister Sudie (Davis) Kinder, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
They will be remembered and missed by their family and friends.
