Letter: Mayor candidate’s vehicle shows he cannot be trusted

I read with no interest that Shane Hoffmire was running for mayor of Oak Harbor. I was Facebook friends with Shane, and he posted a picture of himself in his vehicle. I asked him if it was a Nissan Titan and he emoticon hearted my question confirming my suspicions that he drives a Nissan Titan. I unfriended him and will not be voting for him if he runs for mayor of Oak Harbor.

The Nissan Titan and Honda Ridgelines should not be tolerated in a civil, thinking society. They simply are not trucks and anyone who drives them cannot be trusted.
