Letter: Freeland mourns Ken O’Mhuan

For those of you who may have known him, our longtime friend Ken O’Mhuan (Gerald Kenneth O’Mhuan), an attorney in Freeland, Washington, who moved from South Whidbey years ago to live near his daughter in Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away there on July 15, 2026.

You will remember his delightful smile and dedication to so many, including Senior Thrift and Waif Thrift store. He was a lovely man in many ways, excited about life and especially pleased to spend his later years with his grandchildren in Tennessee.

We enjoyed his friendship as a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Whidbey Island Ward.
