Frances Richart: June 10, 1929 – August 1, 2022

On Monday, August 1, 2022, Frances Jean Trackwell Richart passed away at the age of 93.
Frances was born in Longview, Washington in 1929 to Remus and Gertrude Trackwell. In 1951 she married Carl, her lifelong partner and father of her six children. She studied nursing at Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington. She earned her master’s degree in nurse midwifery from the University of Utah in 1968. She dedicated decades of her life to delivering newborns and caring for them and their parents.
She faced the world with determination, persistence and good humor. She loved music and good company and always brightened gatherings she attended. She loved playing the piano and singing along. Since losing her husband Carl in 2003, she devoted her time to her children and grandchildren all of whom miss her deeply.
She is survived by her children Kathy, Mary, Robert, Kevin, Ann, Sara, and by her eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
