Oak Harbor Police Department unveils new patch design

The Oak Harbor Police Department is changing the designs on its badges and shoulder patches.

The Oak Harbor Police Department’s mission statement is “Dedicated to Community Safety and Service,” which indicates our goal of keeping the community safe.

The new patch includes a Garry oak tree along the shore under Deception Pass Bridge.

The past two patches also had an oak tree, and the department wanted to keep this symbol as part of the design in recognition of this special tree and its uniqueness to the City of Oak Harbor.
