At least one injured after car runs red light, strikes SUV in Oak Harbor

At least one person was injured in a car crash on Highway 20 at Erie Street in Oak Harbor at about 2 p.m. today.

Traffic is snarled on the section of highway as police, firefighters and medics respond to the scene. Cars are being routed around the accident.

A car ran a red light and struck a silver SUV, according to preliminary information. A truck that was stopped at the light may have also been struck.

The driver of the SUV was receiving aid at the scene. It was not immediately clear if others may have been injured.
