The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:

Saturday, Oct. 24

At 2:54 p.m., a resident reported that a suspicious man was looking into bushes and cars on Northwest Elwha Street.

At 8:43 p.m., a caller reported getting cold waiting on Southwest Sixth Avenue because a taxi didn’t show up.

Sunday, Oct. 25

At 12:45 a.m., a Northeast Barron Drive resident reported that a neighbor was screaming on the porch. Two other callers reported hearing a man yelling.

Monday, Oct. 26

At 1:29 p.m., a caller reported finding a bag with “some animal items” on Pioneer Way.

At 1:41 p.m., a fight was reported on Southeast Barrington Drive.

At 6:29 p.m., a caller reported that a driver in a car on Northeast Fourth Avenue made a U-turn and intentionally struck a vehicle.

At 11:13 p.m., a resident reported that people were having a party and a fire on a porch on Northwest Elwha Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

At 12:23 a.m., a caller reported that a “boxy” vehicle was stopping at all the green lights on the highway and was driving on the “braille part of the road.”

At 7:45 a.m., a caller reported that a truck with profanities on its mud flaps on Northeast Seventh Avenue.

At 6:45 p.m., a resident reported that a motorhome was stolen from Northwest Crosby Avenue.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

At 9:07 a.m., a resident on Midway Boulevard reported that someone sent a text message with a photo of “man parts.”

At 10:46 a.m., a woman reported that her boyfriend’s handgun was stolen on North Oak Harbor Street.

At 11:20 a.m., a rooster was reported on Northeast Regatta Drive.

At 12:25 p.m., there was a report that a man pushed another man into the road at a bus stop on the highway.

At 3:35 p.m., a caller reported a man on Bayshore Drive was unable to stand up.

At 10:12 p.m., a Swantown Avenue resident reported that a woman in a bathrobe couldn’t remember where she belongs.

Friday, Oct. 30

At 6:17 a.m., a Northwest Columbia Drive resident reported that someone broke into a vehicle. Seven other callers in the northwest part of town also reported vehicle prowls.

At 12:36 p.m., a man reported that his ex-wife threatened to destroy his belongings on Big Berry Loop.

Saturday, Oct. 31

At 5:40 p.m., a Big Berry Loop resident reported that a neighbor TPed his house and threatened him when confronted about it.

Sunday, Nov. 1

At 4:33 a.m., a driver reported that a man threw something at his car on the highway.

At 8:01 a.m., a caller reported that a transient man was sleeping on Bayshore Drive.

At 11:10 a.m., a Northeast 11th Avenue resident reported that her husband was upset and “nit picking” in front of the children. The woman later called back and said her husband damaged the computer, punched the door and kicked the baby gate.

At 5:22 p.m., an employee at a Pioneer Way business reported finding blood on the bedding and towels when cleaning a room.

At 9:58 p.m., a Southeast Oleary Street resident reported hearing voices saying, “We are going to plant a gun before Thursday.”

Monday, Nov. 2

At 11:58 a.m., there was a report that the water tower was tagged with graffiti.

At 5:59 p.m., an Oleary Street resident reported having questions regarding drones.

At 11:07 p.m., a caller reported that a woman on a State Highway 20 location was digging in the trash, asked for help pumping gas and then left her vehicle with keys in ignition and walked off.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

At 2:45 a.m., an Oleary Street resident reported hearing voices and a woman being strangled through some sort of radio broadcast.

At 10:20 a.m., a driver reported seeing a woman driving on the highway with an infant sitting on her lap.

At 11:31 a.m., a caller reported that six horses were loose on Torpedo Road.

At 3:18 p.m., there was a report of two boys getting ready to fight in front of the high school.

At 6:25 p.m., a Southwest Fairhaven Drive resident reported hearing suspicious noises, like someone “trying to damage a vent.”

Friday, Nov. 4

At 9:35 a.m., a caller reported that two people were sleeping under the bushes off Bayshore Drive.

At 10:25 p.m., a resident reported receiving a bogus call from someone saying her son needed money in the Philippines and will be killed if he doesn’t get the money.

Saturday, Nov. 5

At 9:18 a.m., a woman reported that her ex-husband showed up at her workplace on State Highway 20 and threatened her.

At 12:05 p.m., there was a report of a suspicious subject in the back yard of a house on Sumner Drive.

At 11:54 p.m., an Ernst Street resident reported that a woman came to the door and said men were chasing her.

Sunday, Nov. 6

At 3:31 p.m., a caller reported that someone was sleeping on the front porch of a vacant house on Midway Boulevard.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

At 9:32 a.m., a counterfeit $50 bill was reported at a State Highway 20 business.

At 10:02 a.m., an open manhole was reported on Airline Way.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

At 5:55 a.m., a caller reported that a woman was draped in a blanket on the side of Regatta Drive.

At 9:10 a.m., a caller reported that a car stopped on Catalina Drive was full of garbage and the driver was not responding.

At 12:42 p.m., there was a report of a man screaming at himself on Southeast Jerome Street.

At 11:35 p.m., a caller reported that a man was trying to start a fight with Walmart employees.

At 11:27 p.m., a resident on Barron Drive reported that a cat was howling.
