Bobbie Rae Doolittle, beloved mother, grandmother, devout Christian, and widow to James Bud Doolittle, passed peacefully in her sleep at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Nov. 8, 2015.

Born Nov. 23, 1941 in Duncan, Okla., to William Alonzo Earley and Archie Mae Callender, Bobbie married her husband Jim in 1960.

They moved with their son Sandy to Seattle in 1961. In 1963, they had twins, Buddy and Teresa. In 1969, they moved to Toppenish, where they owned and operated the Doolittle Motel. Bobbie and Jim settled in Oak Harbor in 1978 and called it home for the rest of their lives.

Bobbie owned and operated The Jean Shop in downtown Oak Harbor from 1979 to 1985. She later worked as a teacher’s aide for the school district.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Buddy Doolittle; daughter, Teresa Adams; two grandchildren, Aleesha Cleveland and Brandon Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Kenny Cleveland and TC Cleveland.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home & Cremation, Oak Harbor.
