Central Whidbey lost 14-11 to East Seattle at the state 9/10 Little League softball tournament Sunday, July 12, in Vancouver.
The loss eliminated Central Whidbey from the tournament — maybe.
Coupeville coach Mimi Johnson protested the game because of a possible pitching infraction by East Seattle.
As of late Monday afternoon, Johnson had not received a ruling on the matter.
“Apparently our appeal has made it to Williamsport (Little League headquarters),” Johnson said.
No other details on the game were supplied.
