Like Bonnie Tchuileng, we are sick and tired of the dispute.

What upsets us is the continual fraudulent attacks Citizens of Ebey’s Reserve, or COER, throws at all Navy operations. Please understand, however, that we “big guys” up north who live by Ault Field have jet noise all the time.

Where do you think those Growlers take off from and then land? We’ve also have had P3’s and transports over head for over 38 years.

We still love it here, no health issues, no problems except having to turn the TV volume up sometimes.

OLF Coupeville was specifically created to give pilots the training they need to land on aircraft carriers.

We wish all COER people could experience how difficult and dangerous that is.

There is an old saying, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”

Back when we purchased our land there were no noise warnings required, but we had enough sense to know an air station meant noise.
