Islanders close out league season with win | U-17 soccer

Down 1-0, the U-17 Islander soccer club stormed back for a 3-1 win at Vashon Island Sunday, Nov. 23.

The win wrapped up the regular season for the Islanders, who finished in fourth place.

Goals were scored by Chaz Purdy, Eric Jensen and Leaven Snell.

“We played with a lot of grit to comeback,” coach Curtis Vieke said. “We are coming together well in time for the state tourney.”

The state tournament begins in January.
