Geraldine (Gerri) Ried

Geraldine Cora “Gerri” Guzzo Ried, 83 of Sun Lakes and a retired optometric assistant, died on April 14, 2013 in Chandler, Ariz. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. to Joseph Alexander Guzzo and Inez Matilda Park. She is survived by her husband Lionel W ‘Lyle’ Ried and two sons Dr. L Douglas Ried (Diane B Law Ried) and Richard Verl Ried (April Deleyte Pemberton Ried). Geraldine was preceded in death by her son Steven Kenneth Ried(Alisa Karen Kaatz Ried). She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Risen Savior Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:30pm. Memorials may be donated to Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Hospice of the Valley or your favorite organization.
