Edward James Repose entered into rest on March 15th after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 30th 1966 in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Warwick High School in 1984. Eddie is survived by his wife Edith, his three children, Rutchel and her husband Joel and their 3 children, Mark, Michael and his wife Tara. He is also survived by his mother Ann Repose and her companion Marcel Ducommun in Warwick along with his brother Rob Repose, wife Nicole and their children.
Eddie recently retired as Chief from the United States Navy after having served 22 years defending his country. He served the majority of his time on the John F. Kennedy, USS Carl Vinson and the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carriers. He was awarded numerous medals during his career including some during deployments in the Persian Gulf.
Eddie was a selfless individual who spent a great deal of his free time helping others in his community. He would volunteer time for local charitable organizations, mentor Navy personnel and help friends and family in times of need. He also loved to help coach his children and grandchildren with football. Many people throughout the Oak Harbor Washington community called him Uncle Eddie or their second Dad. He will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
The family would like to thank the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Washington for their care of Eddie during his last days on earth.
Friends and family are encouraged to offer condolences and share memories utilizing the Memory Book hosted by Wallin Funeral Home at www.wallinfuneralhome.com.
