Ronald T. Blouin died suddenly on Aug. 23, 2011 at Providence Medical Center, Everett at the age of 63. He was born Nov. 24, 1947, in Delamere, N.D., to James and Louise Blouin. Ronny was raised in North Dakota until the age of eight when he moved with his family to Montana. At the age of 14, the Blouin family moved to Coupeville.

Ronny graduated from Coupeville High School with the Class of 1967. Ronny enlisted in the U.S. Navy and spent nine and one-half years on active duty. Leaving the Navy, Ronny began a 32-year career with the Boeing Company, where his final position was as a flight line inspector. He retired earlier this year. Ronny spent most of his adult life in Everett. Ronny loved classic cars, especially Ford Mustangs.

Ronny is survived by two children, Randy Blouin and wife Kari of Snohomish and Robin Blouin of Everett; three grandchildren, Emma, Joel and R.J., all of Snohomish; and by eight brothers and sisters, James Blouin of Coupeville, Denis Blouin of Anacortes, Annette Delcey of Newburg, Ore., Dana Blouin and wife Sue, Scott Blouin and wife Patty, David Blouin and wife Kathy and Steve Blouin, all of Coupeville, and Sandra VanNieuwenhuise and husband Darryl of Kent.

Graveside funeral services for Ronny Blouin were held Aug. 27 at Sunnyside Cemetery, Coupeville, with Pastor Marty Fenton of the Impact Christian Church, Lake Stevens, officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.
