Dick Alan Roberts was born Dec. 1, 1949, in Seattle and passed away Feb. 4, 2011, in Coupeville. He graduated from Seattle Prep and then served as a Marine in Vietnam. After completing his military service, he attended Shoreline Community College and Carroll College in Montana. Dick spent many years managing seafood operations in Alaska and Seattle and will be sorely missed in the industry.
He was preceded in death by his father Alan. He is survived by his daughter Nichole and her mother Marlene. Also by his mother Mary and her husband Earnie, his four sisters, Cheryl, Mickey, Eileen and Pat, and many nieces and nephews.
His family will hold a celebration of his life on Saturday, Feb. 12 on Whidbey Island.
