John Ernest George

John Ernest George, born Nov. 30, 1960, passed away in the evening hours of July 16, 2010. He now rests peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wayne George, and is survived by his mother, Emma Louise George. John is also survived by his son Kalen George and daughter Monica Anderson; brother Randy George; sisters Wendy Schager (Richard), Kathyanne George and Rebecca Bryden; nephews Eric and Chris Schager, Kye Thompson and Jason George; nieces Lauren Gojenola (James), Mikhaela Bryden and Sharlene Durbin (Tim); and as well as many relatives and friends.
John loved playing baseball, going fishing, and he was a great golfer. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind caring heart, and loved being with family. He is loved forever, and will be greatly missed.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Burley Funeral Chapel, 30 SE Ely St., Oak Harbor.
