Hoffmire wins three golds in swimming

Alli Hoffmire won three gold medals in the Washington Special Olympics Northwest Regional Games in Federal Way April 17.

Competing for the Fidalgo Flippers, Hoffmire, 15, won the

400-meter freestyle (8:04.78), 200-meter individual medley (4:15.85) and 200-meter breaststroke (4:31.33).

She qualified for the Washington Special Olympic State Games in Federal Way June 5 and will be participating in the same three events.
