Norberto Campos Letrondo, “Uncle Bert,” joined his deceased brothers and sisters at the smelt fishing hole and Poker University in heaven. Surrounded by this wife, Betty, 7 children, Aida, Belinda, Bert Jr., Ceaser, David, Edna and Faye, and two in-laws, Bert passed away peacefully at Whidbey General Hospital from complications of pleural effusion on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
Novena rosary commenced April 22 at 6 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, vigil service is April 30 at 6 p.m., funeral mass is May 1 at 1 p.m. St. Augustine’s. Complete obituary to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
