Treva J. Sapunor

Sadly we announce the passing of Treva J. Sapunor, 73, on Nov. 20, 2010. Treva was born Feb. 11, 1937, to John and Dorothy Frazier in New Mexico, moving to California when she was a child and spending most of her adult life there. She moved to Whidbey Island in November, 2000.
Treva loved gardening, read extensively on many subjects and was an accomplished artist. She is survived by one son, Michael L. Layne (Lucinda) of Kalispell, Mont.; two sisters, Lynda (Martin) Boothman of Olympia and LaTrelle Mieher of Bovina, Texas; and one niece and two nephews, all of Texas. She was proceeded in death by her husband, the Hon. John M. Sapunor of Sacramento, Calif., and her parents.
The Neptune Society performed cremation and at Treva’s request her ashes will be scattered along the river bank on her son’s ranch in Montana.
