Dorothea Grace Hall

Dorothea Grace Hall, 79, died May 19, 2008, at Whidbey General Hospital. She was born March 6, 1929, in Los Angeles to Edwin G. and Ada (Watson) Capreau.
Dorothea was raised in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, and graduated from mark Kepple High School. She went to work for AT&T as a telephone operator for several years. She moved to Alhambra, Calif., to West Covina and then to Anaheim, where she began a career in real estate.
Dorothea moved back to West Covina, where she met her husband Frank Hall. They were married at an Old English Inn in Victoria, B.C. Frank had a son, Frank, Jr., who lived on Whidbey and soon Dorothea and Frank moved to the Island, settling in the Ledgewood development near Coupeville. Dorothea enjoyed collecting clocks, raising dogs and thrift store shopping.
Dorothea is survived by one son Jeffrey Goss and his partner Lorenzo Gonzalez of Anaheim, Calif., and by her special friends, Mason, Cooper and Mikey.
Dorothea requested no formal funeral services be conducted. Cremation was held with private family inurnment to follow at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
