Kevin Joseph Trundle

Kevin Joseph Trundle passed away suddenly at his home in Oak Harbor on March 11, 2008, at age 49. He was born Jan. 13, 1959, in Rockville, Md., to William Bryan and Mary Ellen (Hanaghan) Trundle. He was raised in Maryland. Following high school, Kevin enlisted in the U. S. Navy, serving more than 23 years of active duty. He was medically retired on Oct. 31, 2003, as an ABE-1. He was married to Deborah Ann Bott in Coupeville in July of 2004.
Kevin loved to tinker around his home. He was a skilled woodworker and built all of the cabinets for his house. He loved his Harley Davidson and his truck and rock and roll music was his passion. He could often be found at the Oak Harbor Senior Center with his mother-in-law.
Kevin is survived by his wife Debbie at the family home and by his five children, Ronald Dehn and Ashley Trundle, both of Oak Harbor; by Lori Hall of Yakima, Genny Andrewski of Port Orchard and Sean Trundle of Bremerton, and one grandson, Jacob Tyler Andrewski. His mother Mary Ellen Trundle of Gaithersburg, Md., one brother, Keith of Philadelphia, two sisters, Kathy of Tampa and Kari of Thurmont, Md., and his mother-in-law, Elaine Bott of Oak Harbor, also survive.
Memorial services for Kevin Trundle will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at NAS Whidbey Island Chapel with Chaplain Phillip King officiating. Cremation was held with burial at sea following aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln under the auspices of the U.S. Navy. Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
