Nancy Patricia Parker

Nancy Patricia Parker died at her home in Oak Harbor on Dec. 21, 2007, at the age of 51. She was born Aug. 4, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Jerry C. and Betty Jean Carnahan. She was married to Dennis Parker in Lake Tahoe, Nev., on Nov. 19, 1990.

Nancy worked in telecommunication sales for both General Telephone and Sprint. She and Dennis moved to Oak Harbor from Las Vegas in 2003. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Oak Harbor.

Nancy is survived by her husband Dennis of Oak Harbor; by four children, Scott Stutler of San Diego, Stacy Stutler of Las Vegas, Kimberlee Stutler-Zermeno of Las Vegas and David Stutler of Arlington, Texas; and by two stepchildren, Ronald Parker of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Kenneth Parker of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and ten grandchildren. Her parents, Jerry and Betty Carnahan of North Carolina. Two sisters, Sandra Nipper of Atlanta and Susan Martinez of Riverside, Calif., and two brothers, David Carnahan of Valley Center, Calif., and Thomas Carnahan of Escondido, Calif., also survive.

Memorial services for Nancy will be held Sunday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Southern Baptist Church with a reception to follow. A second memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the First Korean Baptist Church, Las Vegas, Nev.

Private burial was held at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pregnancy Care Clinic, 670 SE Midway Blvd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277. Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
