Marilee Atkinson

Marilee Atkinson, 74, of Oak Harbor, died Oct. 8, 2007. She was born Nov. 25, 1932 in Navy Yard City, Wash., to Joseph and Mary McCusker.

Marilee was educated in the Bremerton school system. She moved to Arkansas in 1967 where she was a member of the Rogers Bowling Association and served as sergeant-at-arms. She also worked for the Rogers school system as a bus driver. She returned to Washington in March 2001.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guy Atkinson and a son Ronald Morrison and three brothers and one sister. Marilee is survived by her sister Connie Moore; two sons, Loren Morrison and wife Mary of Oak Harbor, and Rory Morrison of Texas; two daughters, Leianne Cavness and husband Jonathan and Michelle Winfrey and husband Billy, all of Bentonville, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Marilee will be held at the Whidbey Island Church of Christ, 3143-G N. Goldie Road, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. Private family burial will follow at Silent Grove Cemetery, Springdale, Ark.
