Joe Thompson, 86, of Oak Harbor, died Sept. 22, 2007. His youngest grandson wanted people to know the following:
I loved Joey, he played with me.
We ate tree nuts, we ate pudding.
We played fishing games, we played horseshoes.
He gave me a fishing pole, he gave me a rocking chair.
I miss Joey.

A man is only as rich as the children he is remembered by. Joe Thompson is the richest person we know. Joey is survived by his 13 other grandchildren and one great-grandson: Taylor Treece, James Kelley, Sean Kelley, Lisa Kelley, Karissa Kelley, Joe Kelley, Josh Kelley, Jesse Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Alyssa Kelley, Nicole Kelley, Kendra Kelley, Abigale Kelley and Tristan Kelley.
