Audrey Arlene Ann Meredith, 51, 11-year resident of Oak Harbor, died at her home Sunday, March 21, 2004.
Audrey was born in Renton April 19, 1952, to Lawrence Akerley and Elizabeth (Pflieger) Akerley. She was raised in Renton, where she graduated from Renton High School. In 1993, she moved to Oak Harbor. She enjoyed her children very much.
Audrey is survived by her companion of many years, Fred Bass; six children, Cherise Zimmerman of Purdy and Frederick Bass, Jr., Lisa Bass, Brandon Bass, Ashley Bass and Chylah Bass, all of Oak Harbor; a step-grandson, J.R. Bass; four sisters, Lorene Ahola of Washington, Marlene Eichelberger of Chehalis, Marla Mitchell of Seattle and Kari Akerley of Bellevue; also, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial dervice will be Monday, March 29, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Center. A memorial fund for Audrey Meredith/Bass has been established through Whidbey Island Bank. Those wishing to make donations may do so through any branch. Arrangements and cremation under direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
