Bruce Andrews Wheeler

Bruce Andrews Wheeler of Black Diamond died Dec. 2, 2003, in Renton. He was born Oct. 9, 1926, in Oak Harbor. He was married in Oak Harbor and served in the U.S. Navy stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.
He was preceded in death by twin sons. He was a member of the Retired Airline Pilots Association. Mr. Wheeler enjoyed electronics, woodworking, travel and his family. He is survived by his wife Betty of Black Diamond, son Bill and wife Cindy of Black Diamond and his daughter Carrie and her husband Bob Hartman of Kent, grandchildren Anna Hartman, Billy and Sarah Wheeler; brother Robert Wheeler and sister Betty Steinsiek.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel in Covington. Memorials may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
