Merced P. Enegente

Merced P. Enegente, 70, 23-year resident of Oak Harbor, died at her home on Nov. 21, 2003, following a battle with cancer.

Mrs. Enegente was born Sept. 15, 1933, to Mr. and Mrs. Apolenario Panimdim in Carcar Cebu, Philippines. She came to Oak Harbor in 1980. She had worked for Washington Bulb Company in Skagit Valley for 20 years. Her life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Enegente is survived by one daughter, Aristea Enegente of the Philippines; three sons, Felix Enegente and wife Ronalda Tom of Oak Harbor, Eugene Enegente of Mount Vernon and Joel Enegente and wife Linda of the Philippines; three grandchildren, Starla Harris and husband Cleveland of Oak Harbor; Sabrina Moody of South Carolina and Felicia Enegente of Oak Harbor; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Tyler and Alex Harris; two brothers and three sisters in the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Enegente Sr. Nov. 26, 1985, and by a daughter, Estrella Baldwin in May 1995.

A service will be held, the location and time of which will be disclosed by family members. Arrangements by Burley Funeral Chapel.
