Lola Patterson

Lola B. Patterson, 77, 45-year resident of Oak Harbor, died at Providence General Medical Center in Everett, Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Patterson was born May 10, 1926, in Baker City, Ore., to Adoniram Judson Brannock and Alma E. (Irwin) Brannock. She was raised in Baker City, where she graduated from high school. On Jan. 5, 1950, she married William C. Patterson in Boise, Idaho. After living in Jacksonville, Fla., they moved to Oak Harbor in 1958. Lola was a member of the Good Sam Club and the AARP. She was also an active member of the Oak Harbor Church of the Nazarene.
Lola is survived by her husband William at home; daughter, Sandy Moody and husband Alex of Anacortes; sons Arnold Morin of Ontario, Ore., Terry L. Patterson and wife Colleen of Stuart, Fla., and Robert L. Patterson and wife Rosemarie of Torrance, Calif.; grandchildren, Beth Patterson of Waterbury, Conn., Shannon, Taylor, and Michael Patterson, all of Stuart, Fla., Billy Patterson of Torrance, Calif., Kristy Hobson and husband Jamal of Redmond, Steven Moody and wife Holly of Cody, Wyoming, Patrick Moody of Anacortes, Jason Morin and wife Heather of Great Bend, Kan.; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Wilson of Baker City, Ore.; also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, by three brothers, Jerald, Arnold and Jack Brannock, and sisters Fern Connors and Bonnie DeMasters.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Burley Funeral Chapel, from noon until 5 p.m. and Monday Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. until service time. A funeral service will be Monday Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at Burley Funeral Chapel, Pastor Benjamin J. Norris officiating.
